Wong Lo Kat Herbal Tea is a Chinese herbal tea that was invented in the early 18th century. It is now modified into various beverage products that could be consumed in supermarkets, stores, restaurants and vending machines.

Wong Lo Kat herbal tea is a traditional Chinese herbal drink that helps people with minor sickness such as cold, flu, fever etc. The first product in the market was bowls of hot Chinese medicine sold in stores. Then people find it very inconvenient, so tea bags were brought up, people were able to drink herbal tea anytime and anywhere. Keeping up with the improving world’s pace, Wong Lo Kat Ltd. expanded their product line to more different products. More herbal beverages were introduced and herbal tea are packed as cans or dehydrated into drink mix.

1830

Founder of Wong Lo Kat, Wong Chak Bong was born in Guangdong, China.

1850

A pestilence spread all over China. Wong Chak Bong invented a Chinese herbal recipe and donated to the country.

1851

Wong Chak Bong started the brand Wong Lo Kat and sold bowls of medicine and tea bags in the city.

1856

Wong Chak Bong cured the Chinese official Lin Zexu. Lin Zexu awarded Wong Chak Bong a calabash with the three Chinese characters “Wong Lo Kat” carved on it. This calabash then became the business’s logo.

1949

The People of Republic of China (PRC) took over the Wong Lo Kat’s business.

1992

Wong Lo Kat is no longer owned by the state, and it transformed into an enterprise and released shares in the stock market.

2008

Wong Lo Kat sponsored Beijing 2008 Olympic and it’s herbal tea (can) became the designated beverage for the occasion.

Wong Lo Kat Herbal Tea

Uses: help to clear excessive heat and toxic from the body, clear body dampness and relieve discomfort associated with cold, fever, sore throat, indigestion and excessive thirst.

Ingredients: Radix Ilicis Asprellae, semen Oroxyli, Herba Helicter, Angustifoliae, Herbal Polygoni Chinensls, Rhizoma Lygodii.

Cane and Carrot Juice

Uses: Relieve to nourish body heat and improve appetite

Ingredients: Cane, Herb, Carrot, Water Chestnut

 

Honey Herbal

Uses: Refresh and soothe sore throat

Ingredients: Loquat leaf, Honey, Fritillaria, Cane sugar, Almond, Liquorice
